The 2007-2008 club registration will be held Tuesday, November 6, 2007.

The Bulldog Wrestling Club is a non-profit organization that promotes the true sport of wrestling. The club teaches all three styles of wrestling: Folkstyle (Collegiate), Freestyle and Greco-Roman. The club has been in existence since 1997 and has coached wrestlers of all levels, from 4 year-old beginners to national placers, All-Americans, regional, and state champions. The club boasts the most experienced and most highly qualified club coaching staff in the state of South Carolina.

For the beginning wrestler, the club promotes sportsmanship, agility, balance, confidence, discipline, all around fitness and most importantly FUN!! For the intermediate and high school wrestler, the club offers a level of coaching that will enable the wrestler to gain the skills necessary to be a state championship contender. Improving technique is our only goal in the club. Absolutely no weight loss activity is promoted by the club and wrestlers are encouraged not to be concerned about weight limits.

Club dues are $30.00 per month. The club is sanctioned by both the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) and USA Wrestling. Wrestlers must also obtain an AAU card or a USA card for $25.00. Each tournament will have a separate entry fee of approximately $8.00 to $12.00.

Tournament competition begins in mid November.   Tournaments are held throughout South Carolina, including three tournaments on our home mats at the Citadel.   Traveling team members may participate in tournaments throughout the country.

The club will host the State AAU Folkstyle Championship in March 2007. The Southeast Regional Kids and Cadet Freestyle and Greco-Roman Tournament will be held in Greenville, SC in May 2007.
